Mission Accomplished!
RWOMI has been providing several social and welfare services via a series of workshops and other events in an effort to focus on restoring and building families. These include: SEMINARS/WORKSHOPS Family Workshops RWOMI has been providing several social and welfare services via a series of workshops such as its Family Workshops, in an effort to focus on restoring and building families – first reaching the men through the Men’s Workshops, then reaching the women through the Women’s Workshops and then following through with the Family Workshops and Dinners!
The seminars were held in Kingston, Jamaica (January 2009), Hollywood, FL (March 2009), and Palm Bay, FL,(March 2009). RWOMI is currently planning to use this model, tailoring the series to service other communities and indeed other countries starting with those with which the organization is already in contact. This includes Nakuru and Kakamega, Kenya, Lahore, Pakistan, Srikakulam in India as well as some Caribbean Islands including Cayman and Haiti. Seminars dealt with issues such as Finance, Family, Purpose and Personal Development and Enhancement with a view to building strong families, which make better communities, making better nations, one nation at a time! |

Prayer Support Letter September 2009 We certainly live in a rapidly changing world. We are in those days the Bible calls “perilous times” (1 Timothy 3:1-5), and we must be aware that it means that many things that are happening in the world are causing “times of stress” (as that is what “perilous” means) for many. But for the true Christian it is a time of great challenge, when we can function in the “opposite” spirit through our having and maintaining a right relationship with Jesus Christ. While the world is “flying to pieces,” we can be “getting it together” like never before! Because we are fore-warned in the Scriptures, we should not be amazed at what is happening in the world ~ and according to the Scriptures we should also be aware that God has promised “to pour out His Holy Spirit upon all flesh” (Acts 2:16-21). |
